This month we’re talking about reconnecting as November includes National Forget-Me-Not Day and Thanksgiving. The other day I was listening to a song (The Fear) by Ben Howard. Its lyrics reminded me of the importance of finding time to reconnect with friends, family and loved ones. There’s a crossing guard named Harry by where I work, that gives me a generous high-five every time I walk by on my lunch break. I always feel like a small kid when I do this. We sometimes make pleasantries about the weather and his ice hockey games when there are not a multiple cars lined up waiting on me to finish crossing the street. That high-five always lifts my mood - guaranteed.
